40 WAYS YOU CAN DEVELOP YOUR MIND


This is the second part of the previous post yesterday which I stated would be in three parts (the ‘trilogy of the 40’s). Now, having gotten the ‘TO DO LIST’ before death, you’ll need a really active and reproductive mind/mindset to push them through. Hence,developing the mind becomes pertinent.
I have also made some reasonable deductions on how the mind could be developed to achieve these things that need be done before death.

Here are the 40 ways you can develop your mind:

Exercise your mind, not just your body— Do crosswords, play chess,solve hard questions and puzzles.

Listen to music —-listen to inspirational pieces of music. Choose good and creative pieces of music. Classical music by the likes of Beethoven, Mozart,Chopin, Bach etc can do you a lot of good.

TALK TO THAT STRANGE PERSON SITTING BESIDE YOU.

Make new friends — Keeping yourself busy socially is stimulating to the mind.

Read a book by an author you most avoid — it helps you to try a new line of thinking.

Read the dictionary —learning a new word every 2 – 4 days will increase your vocabulary.

Share your skill — when you do this,you help your own skills too.

Ask questions in a large crowd — this helps in a marvelous way.

STAND ON A CHAIR FOR 3 MINUTES FOR A TIME — building self-discipline is a great way to take control of your mind. How this works is that your mind will keep on telling you to get down,while you decide to stay there. Discipline yourself!

CLOSE YOUR EYES —- learn to close your eyes and sit still, not to sleep. It activates your mind and stimulates your brain while helping the muscles of your eyes.

MEDITATE EVERY DAY!

Don’t talk now, Just listen —- It’s more important to listen, it tasks your mind.

Do something spontaneous — take time off work, take somebody out, buy a surprising gift for somebody etc.

When on the street, TRY GUESSING THE FIRST NAMES OF THE PEOPLE YOU SEE OR WHAT THE NEXT PERSON WILL SAY IN A DIALOGUE.
